Work

Domenec Mele

On a mission to build products people love and fostering tech entrepreneurship in Spain along the way. Here's a summary of my work so far.

Crossmint

Product, Tech & Go-to-market

I joined Crossmint early to expand the reach of our Minting API by integrating it with a variety of tools and frameworks. These integrations make it easier for developers to incorporate our products into their workflows, driving broader adoption across the developer community.

As the company grew and its needs evolved, I shifted my focus to building tools that empowered every employee—whether technical or not—with the data they needed to excel in their roles, helping the company become truly data-driven.

Since I joined Crossmint in 2022, the developer base has grown 850%, now at ~40k. Crossmint is now the leading enterprise blockchain platform. It's used by household brands like Red Bull, Etihad, Adidas, ATP Tour, Atari, or even Snoop Dogg.

Dija (acquired by goPuff)

Data Engineering & Analytics, 2020 — 2021

I joined Dija, a quick commerce startup specializing in 10-minute grocery delivery, as the 4th employee.

My focus was on building and managing the data infrastructure from the ground up. I established the data stack, deployed and maintained Looker for over 75 daily users, and expanded the data team from one to seven members.

It was a challenging experience, but my work supported the company’s operations leading up to its acquisition by GoPuff in 2021.

Rappi

Business Operations & Strategy, 2020

I worked with Rappi, a leading on-demand delivery platform in Latin America, on a fixed-term contract. Our team's primary focus was on improving add-to-cart rate and partner onboarding velocity.

I led a company-wide product categorization initiative. Additionally, I implemented a streamlined onboarding process for CPG partners, doubling onboarding velocity across nine markets in LatAm.

deliveroo

Multiple roles, 2018-2020

Deliveroo was my first employer after school. There, I held three different roles, chronologically:

I was incredibly lucky to start my career at Deliveroo. It was only years later that I realized just how unique and special the experience was: exponential growth, a high bar for employees, and truly caring managers.

Uniplaces

Intern, 2017

I joined Uniplaces' HQ in Lisbon shortly after their Series A funding. The sales team there was highly efficient, and enabled me to average over 60 cold calls and more than 5 deals secured per day.
